Bill graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a degree in Finance and Accounting. He went on to earn both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters and Chartered Life Underwriters professional designations from the Insurance Institute of America.

Bill currently serves as Executive Vice President of Simkiss & Block, a group of financial service firms headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. Simkiss & Block is an active member of The Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers (CIAB), The National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP), and numerous other professional and trade organizations. He is a former board member of the Chester County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and enjoys being a member of The Union League and Philadelphia Country Club.

During his thirty plus years of experience, Bill has participated in numerous industry events, published in his areas of expertise, and made numerous presentations to business leaders and professional associations. He personally supervises risk management, estate and financial planning, and surety and credit guarantee programs for many clients. As a Principal of Simkiss & Block, his primary responsibilities range from business development and sales to client and carrier relationships. He leads a team that provides contract and commercial surety programs for both local and regional firms, and national firms around the country.

Bill and his wife Nancy reside in suburban Philadelphia, and enjoy hiking and outdoor activities, including golf. They are active in the community and support numerous charitable and cultural organizations. They enjoy visiting their three grown sons, daughters in law, and granddaughter as often as possible.
