Aqua America has recently experienced an exciting period of growth, having entered a non-traditional market with the acquisition of a gas utility. About that acquisition, Franklin remarked, “the board and management team had a vision in place to pull off a transaction like this.” He goes on to discuss how having the proper advisors and partners in place helps ease transitions into new areas.
